KIDS MINISTRY

Birth to Pre-K
As a volunteer with our birth to PreK kids, you’ll help our youngest children experience Jesus through a mix of simple bible songs, activities, and play through provided curriculum. You’ll lead kids through engaging Bible stories and hands-on activities, all while encouraging participation, modeling worship, and praying over them. As a nursery volunteer, you will provide loving care to our littlest ones by meeting their individual needs.
Elementary
As a volunteer with our elementary age kids, you’ll help engage kids with Jesus through worship, group discussions, and engaging activities. You’ll be asked to get to know kids by name and learn about them individually. You’ll help the children’s pastor model meaningful worship, lead fun activities that reinforce Bible lessons, guide small group discussions, encourage kids to express the feelings in a safe environment. This role allows you to inspire the next generation to live boldly for Christ.
Kidz Blast
Kidz Blast is an outreach ministry for kids. Kidz Blast volunteers serve many different roles, from check-in to preparing activities, to building relationships with kids, to giving smiles and high fives, and helping with supervision in different areas. This volunteer must be prepared for a lot of activity that kids bring, but it is one of the most rewarding jobs in kids ministry.
Kids Blast Meal Prep
As a Kidz Blast Meal Prep volunteer, you will be asked to help on a rotating basis to prepare food for Kids Blast children on Wednesday nights. The menu is prepared and food is already provided. You will prepare, serve and clean up kitchen afterward. This is a great behind the scenes way to help in our children’s ministry to help love on our kids.

YOUTH MINISTRY

At C1YOUTH our mission is to help teenagers build and strengthen their relationships with Jesus and with each other! As a volunteer you will be helping middle and high school students grow in their relationship with God through weekly gatherings and regular youth events throughout the year!
Youth Worship
Our youth worship team consists of teen and adult singers and instrumentalists who lead our C1YOUTH ministry in worship every Wednesday night! We are currently looking for people who play any of the following instruments: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or drums. People who know how to run sound are also needed! Positions are conditional upon a successful tryout.
Youth Quizzing
Youth quizzing is a program designed to help teenagers study and memorize God's Word through friendly competition! Quizzing happens on a variety of levels: local, district, regional, and even national! As a volunteer you would help with weekly quiz practices and monthly quiz meets during the months of September-March.
Bus Drivers - Kids & Youth
As a bus driver, you are serving a vital role in our kids and youth outreach ministry. We need people willing to drive or ride with our kids and youth on Wednesday evenings. We ask that you get to know the kids and teens that you pick up each week and show them the love of Jesus - even if it only for a brief amount of time each week.
